Seminar: ‘Cultural leadership and the place of the artist’
This half-day seminar is part of a new international research project led by the On The Edge research programme at Gray’s School of Art. It continues a decade long exploration of artistic and cultural leadership by the On The Edge team and involves partners Creative Scotland, The Clore Leadership Programme (London) and ENCATC (Brussels), a European network on cultural management and policy. Findings from recent research will be presented and their implications debated with an invited group of cultural professionals including staff and board members from the Barn. This seminar will inform the development of three subsequent events which are planned for the summer of 2016 in Edinburgh, Brussels and London with the full partnership. The project is funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council.
